SUMMARY:Speed Coaching with Co-Active (Session 2)
DESCRIPTION:Up to four coaching rounds\, fifteen minutes each\, in a single evening. \nPlenty of people are curious about coaching without ever having been coached\, and this is a chance to find out what it’s actually like. \nClaire Wong and Swee Hoon Lim\, PCC and Co-Active Singapore Faculty\, open the evening by explaining what Co-Active coaching is. After that you’ll be coached in fifteen-minute rounds\, moving from one coach to the next\, so you get to meet with up to four different coaches over the course of the evening. \nThere’s nothing to prepare and you don’t need any coaching experience. If you arrive without anything particular in mind\, that’s normal\, and most people find something once they’re sitting in the chair. Whatever you bring\, and whatever comes up in your rounds\, stays between you and your coach. \nThe evening is for anyone curious about coaching who hasn’t tried it\, whether that’s because you keep hearing it recommended or because you’re sitting with a question that won’t quite resolve. You don’t need to know in advance what you’d want to talk about. \nThe coaches are bringing food\, so there’ll be something to eat and time to talk once the rounds are done. \n📆 Thursday 3 September\, 7.30 – 9.30pm SGT\n📍Co-Active Singapore\, 38 North Canal Road\, #04-01\nFree\, with 10 places available. Sign-ups close on Tuesday\, 1 September.\nPlaces are limited\, so if you sign up and then can’t make it\, do let us know and we’ll pass your spot to someone on the waitlist.\n \nSave me a spot → https://tally.so/r/yP5ZX6 \nCo-Active Training Institute has been training coaches for over thirty years. If the evening leaves you curious\, Fundamentals runs 11–13 September in Singapore and\, for the first time\, Hong Kong. \nImportant Note: Coaching looks forward\, at where you are now and where you’d like to get to. It isn’t therapy\, and the coaches on the night aren’t therapists. If you’re carrying something that needs more care than fifteen minutes can hold\, email us at hellosingapore@coactive.com first and we’ll help you work out whether this is the right space.

SUMMARY:When AI meets Co-Active Coaching - A Co-Active Dialogue
DESCRIPTION:Two of the four Co-Active coaches on this panel probably agree on almost nothing about AI. \nMichael Bertrand built imayui.app\, a platform dedicated to transform the way people connect with coaches. AI helped him make this a reality. Zaf Djabri spent 4 years building his own AI a long time ago\, but chooses not to use them today. Both of them have done the work and thought it through\, and they’ve landed in opposite places. That gap is one of the reasons we want to have this conversation. \nMost coaches have opinions on AI. Some of us talk about it regularly; some don’t discuss it at all. Some of us are conflicted\, some are quite enthusiastic about AI and some of us are swaying between camps. So on Thursday\, 10 September we’re putting the question in a room for two hours\, with the rule you already know: everything is included\, and no one gets to be wrong. \nSome questions that are already swirling in our group chats – If Co-Active is a way of being in relationship\, then the question is what relationship means when the other party isn’t a person. Who’s in the designed alliance when you put a session into a machine? Did your client agree to that? \nChuck Allen is facilitating. He’s a regular user of AI tools who often sways between optimism and concern and he is likely asking the questions most of the room is holding. \nWho’s on the panel\nZaf Djabri\, CPCC\, PCC – Executive counsellor\, coach and licensed psychotherapist. Spent 4 years building his own AI before AI was even AI\, and has chosen not to have anything to do with AI for now. \nMichael Bertrand\, CPCC\, PCC – Executive and developmental coach. Built imayui.app for coaches\, and makes the case for the safe use of AI in a practice. \nLeïla Sierra\, CPCC\, PCC\, MSc – Executive coach\, facilitator and psychologist. Her master’s thesis asked whether AI could replace your therapist\, and why connection still matters. She certainly has thoughts on this topic. \nPrathap L.\, CPCC\, PCC – Coach\, doctoral researcher\, ex-military. Built AI modelling and digital twins to train soldiers\, and studies how institutions fail in crisis. \nChuck Allen\, CPCC\, MCC facilitates. As senior CTI faculty he brings decades of experience in coach training to the conversation. He’s got questions about how AI will affect the future of coaching\, which is why he’s the one asking. \nWho this is for\nAnyone in the Co-Active community and friends of Co-Active\, coaching or not. We’d love for you to bring a friend\, especially one who’d argue with you about this. \nYou don’t need a position and you don’t need to know anything about the technology. Come at either end or somewhere confused in the middle. The middle is probably where many of us live. \nThe practical bits\nAs with all Co-Active Community events\, we ask that you bring some nibbles to share. \nIt’s a small room and it makes a difference to know who we’re expecting\, so please sign up in the link below. The form asks a couple of real questions and takes about three minutes. The panel will read the answers before the night and will build the session around them \nEvent details\n📅 Thursday 10 September\n🕢  7.30pm – 9.30pm\nDoors Open at 7.00pm\n📍 Co-Active Singapore Office\n38 North Canal Road\, Level 4 \nRegister here: https://tally.so/r/QKlbNY
